In an event that mail server authorisation fails over the specified number of times* in CACHATTO, the mail account lock feature temporarily prohibits CACHATTO access to the mail server. This helps prevent getting completely locked out of mail server.
This feature is primarily for those using Exchange server alongside an AD/LDAP server to prevent getting locked out of their Active Directory (AD) account.
If you get locked out of your CACHATTO email account, you will be unable to view your schedule as well. Likewise, the automatic email fetching function is also unavailable.
You can dissolve the email account lock by updating the email password via CACHATTO’s settings. (If the updated password is incorrect, the lock is reinstated.)
