FAQ: how can I change my AD/LDAP password from outside of the office?

Q: How can I change my AD/LDAP password from outside of the office?

A: With the 16 March release of CACHATTO V5.6 R4, the AD/LDAP password can be changed from within CACHATTO.

Previously, if someone’s AD/LDAP password expired while they were away from the office for an extended period of time, they could not update or change their AD/LDAP password, and would unable to access CACHATTO SecureBrowser.
In order to change their AD/LDAP password remotely, they would need to contact their system administrator to change it on their behalf, or to enable the use of their old password.

Now, however, there is no need for a middleman, and users can change their password easily through CACHATTO.
